Responsibilities:
Ecology Expertise: Utilise your expertise in ecology to conduct comprehensive Environmental Assessments, ensuring the preservation and enhancement of ecosystems.
Legal Compliance: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Irish Environmental Legislation and Regulations.
Team Leadership: Join our existing vibrant Consultancy Team of dedicated professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Project Management: Oversee a variety of projects, including Waste Permitting, Extractive Industry Planning, Discharge Licensing and Environmental Impact Assessment Reports (EIAR).
Tender Submissions: Showcase your strategic thinking and writing skills by preparing technical reports for submissions for Environmental Consultancy Projects.
Legislative Framework Mastery: Possess a strong working knowledge of the legislative framework, including the Habitats Directive, Waste Management Act, Water Pollution Acts and the Planning Regulations.
Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, ensuring effective communication and adherence to environmental standards.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, or a related field.
Industry Experience: proven experience in the environmental consultancy industry.
Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Irish environmental legislation and regulations.
Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills with a successful track record of leading and managing teams.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex environmental concepts to diverse audiences.
